An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny and Minister for Agriculture, Marine, Food & Defence Simon Coveney attend Ireland China Business Association 2nd Annual Dinner on November 26th, kindly sponsored by ICBC.
The department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Justice were also represented at the ICBA event along with representatives of the Chinese Embassy and members of the business community and their guests. His Excellancy, Mr. Paul Kavanagh Ireland’s Ambassador in China opened the evening with a video link greeting and speech from Beijing.
An Taoiseach highlighted the success of the recent ministerial visits and trade missions to China during 2014 and the government’s commitment to further strengthening all links between Ireland and China. Susan Barrrett, Vice Chair of the ICBA joined the Education Mission in Shanghai.
ICBA Chairman , Ken Duggan and Vice Chair Susan Barrett were delighted with the success of the evening and thanked their Council for all their hard work during the year.
