shutterstock_115795330Ireland’s Minister for Justice has announced that a British Irish Visa Scheme will commence this autumn.  Under the new scheme, Chinese visitors will be able to use Irish visitor visas to also travel to Britain.  Arrangements for the implementation of the scheme are being progressed with the UK Home Office and with the Chinese authorities, and further information will be provided as soon as possible.  Since 2011, Chinese visitors can use British visas to travel onwards to Ireland after they have entered the UK.
